Mircean Monroe is an American actress who was born in St. Louis, Missouri but grew up in Fiji. Her first professional acting job was in the movie Cellular (2004). Since then she has appeared in various films, and pilots for The WB and Fox, starred in the Fox show "Drive," and guest starred on TV shows, including "Freddie," "Scrubs," "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip," "Sons of Anarchy," and "Without a Trace."
She has a number of movies coming up including Pornstar (2010), Phase One (2010), and The 41 Year Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It (2010).
Actress Mircea Monroe, who also goes by the nickname Loma, has had many opportunities to establish herself in the entertainment industry. Monroe stands at 5 feet, 6 inches and graced the cover page of the September 2004 issue of Maxim magazine. At present, she is starring in the Fox television series, Drive.
Ellie Laird is portrayed by Mercia Monroe on the show Drive. Ellie grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas and ended up marrying Rob Laird, her high school boyfriend. Upon tying the knot with Rob, she thought that she would get to live the life she had always wanted. However, because Rob serves for the army, Ellie has often been left alone at home. Working as a hotel front desk clerk, she has come across different kinds of people who have come from all over the globe, and her daily encounters has renewed her belief that there is indeed, so much more to explore. Together with Rob, Ellie signed up for “The Race” in the hopes of finally stepping out of Arkansas.
